Did you try those 2 banging, low cal, high protein recipes I sent last week?

If you missed them, tap here.

Today, I just wanted to give you a heads up, there’ll be no usual Monday blog next week.

With the bank holiday soon to be upon us, I’m headed off to Centre Parcs to spend some QT with my fam – can’t wait.

Buuut before I go, as always, I’m here to help you in every way I can.

With memories popping up all over my social media newsfeed, it’s been a very reflective month.

Last September…was…BANANAS!!

If you followed my journey to Everest, you’ll have seen I was in Ecuador climbing some crazy, high altitude volcanoes in preparation for completing that journey this year.

From visiting the Equator aka ‘middle of the earth’ straddling both the northern/southern hemisphere – super cool and weird at the same time.

Getting caught in a highly dangerous snowstorm at 5500m in the pitch black around 3am where my guide fell down a crevasse and I genuinely wasn’t sure if I’d make it off the volcano.

Zip-lining over a massive gorge, visiting the biggest waterfall in Banos and trying the local delicacy – guinea pig!! (I just couldn’t).

To finally pushing through every mental/physical pain barrier I ever thought existed and officially joining the elite few who are part of the ‘Less Then 20% Club’ by summiting Chimborazo (6310m/20,565ft).

Busting out an extreme, high altitude plank….because that’s what PT’s do : )

It was a seriously action packed month.

And to be honest, this year – things are STILL full systems go!!

Which I’m sure you can relate to.

Between juggling a busy business, mumlife, training hard, prepping behind the scenes for my next MAJOR expedition plus the festive season and a million other things.

It can get pretty stressful.

However.

Life is always 10% of what happen to us and 90% how we CHOOSE to deal with it.

So here’s some things I put into place to ensure I continue to make progress, move forward, manage my stress levels, protect my mental health and be as productive and successful as possible.

Hope you find them helpful:

✅ Plan like a boss.

Planning is always KEY and a simple way to set yourself up for success.

Particularly helpful when you can’t be bothered – just follow the plan.

✅ Set daily goals.

Without a doubt an absolute essential to making any kind of progress whilst boosting your motivation and consistency.

✅ Make lists.

List are awesome at getting things out your head and on paper to save extra stress and make you more productive.

Prioritise the most important things at the top.

✅ Give 100% effort and back my chat.

Half assed effort = half assed results.

When you actually do what you say you’re going to do – ‘magic’ happens.

✅ Increase caffeine levels : )

Caffeine (up to 400mg daily) is a game changer for helping you get sh*t done especially if you’re a parent!

✅ Make my mental health & energy a priority.

What you give power to has power over you.

If it doesn’t ‘serve you’, don’t give it your time.

✅ Fill my head with positive thoughts being aware of my vocabulary.

Positive self talk is your superpower which leads to self-belief, self-confidence, self-worth and self-love.

You can’t tear strips off yourself each day and expect to achieve things and be happy.

✅ Focus on solutions, not problems.

A negative mind will never lead a positive life.

There’s no point wasting precious time and energy on what can go wrong – obstacles are there to be overcome so find a way.

✅ Let go of negative situations and people I can’t change or control.

One of the hardest yet most important, life changing things you can ever do.

But life is too short and toxic energy serves no-one.

✅ Don’t let the past or stress of what the future may hold prevent me from enjoying and embracing the present.

The quickest way to feel happier, more positive and become more productive is to live in the present and stop dwelling on things that have already happened or scenarios you’ve made up in your head that may likely never happen.

✅ Surround myself with those who support me and lift me up.

Those people you bounce off, who celebrate your success and bring our the best in you – those are your people.

Pay attention to those who don’t clap when you’re winning.

✅ Remember, every day I get to choose whether it’s a good one or bad one.

Mindset…..is…..EVERYTHING!!

Conquer your mind and you can conquer anything.

No matter what life throws at you.

When you choose to take action, think more positively and follow what I’ve mentioned above, the world becomes a much HAPPIER place to live (especially between your ears).

If you need some extra support, motivation and guidance this month to achieve your goals and feel better in yourself.

Especially before all the hustle & bustle of the festive season kicks off.

Just get in touch.
