If we’re connected on social media, you may have seen me enjoying some post-Everest celebrations with my friends from London.

Whilst enjoying some sweeties, chocolate, croissants, dinner out, kebab after clubbing, the biggest Sunday roast you’ve ever seen, pizza and chinese take-away all washed down with a ‘healthy’ amount of cocktails, beers and voddy.

Partying like we’re rockstars but recovering like we are in fact 40+year old parents (if you know – you know, lol).

It’s safe to say, not a single calorie was counted at the weekend.

Granted I’d been training hard all week, had a good boogie and got up early this morning for a run.

However you can’t out train a bad diet and there was still a rather unnecessary amount of calories consumed.

️ Yup, hands up.

I fell off the wagon pretty spectacularly 3 days in a row.

Fast forward to today and it’s safe to say, I’m ehhh.

Feeling a little ‘FLUFFIER’ around the edges.

Sooo…

If you’re in the same boat as me and got a little ‘excited’ at the weekend.

You now have 2 choices:

1️⃣ Feel guilty, beat yourself up about it and starve yourself.

2️⃣ Pick up your fluffy pants, get back on track today and move forward.

Heads up…

Choose number 1 and you’re doing it wrong.

Don’t stress over the things you can’t change, it wastes precious time and steals your happiness from the present.

The world doesn’t end when you fall off the wagon and you are what you do most of the time, not some of the time.

But what IS important, is getting back on it at the first opportunity.

Which doesn’t mean starving yourself!

✅ It means perhaps tracking your calories or aiming for 3 meals + 2 snacks, watching your portion control and not eating like a dick.

✅ Getting your hydration (2litres) & activity levels (7-10k steps) back on point.

✅ Keep it simple – simple works.

If you need a little help pulling up your ‘fluffy pants’.

To firm your wobbly bits, sculpt your body, start each week in the right headspace, feeling strong, positive and ready to handle whatever the week throws at you.
