🔥 Lose X amount of fat in X days 🔥

 

With Summer officially landing 3 weeks tomorrow, these kind of false claims are EVERYWHERE.

 

I can tell you not to believe these kind of crazy claims but instead, I wanted to explain WHY.

 

To arm you with knowledge and give you power so you never have to fall for any of those ‘quick fix’ gimmicks again.

 

So here goes.

 

➡️ 1lb of bodyfat = 3500cals (approx)

 

The average women burns around 2000cals a day.

 

Therefore, if you create a calorie deficit of 500cals per day by consuming around 1500cals daily for a week, it’s reasonable to lose 1lb of bodyfat.

 

500 x 7 = 3500 = 1lb of bodyfat.

 

It’s also realistic, achievable & sustainable.

 

However,

 

To drop 10 lbs of bodyfat in a week you’d need to be in a calorie deficit of 35,000 calories.

 

10 x 3500 = 35,000 = 10lbs of bodyfat.

 

Meaning, if you only ate 1500cals a day for a week.

 

You would still have OVER eaten by 19,500 calories!!

 

Impossible, unrealistic and just plain bullsh*t.

 

If you hear Sheila lost 10lbs in a week at Slimming World or drinking Keto shakes.

 

Sheila just lost loads of water weight, unfortunately precious muscle and a small amount of bodyfat.

 

I’ve said it so many times before – there’s no quick fix.

 

You have to address your habits, put in the work to make small changes and be consistent.

 

I know it unfortunately doesn’t sound as sexy as lose 10lbs in 7 days but it’s 100% true.

 

You’re in this for LIFE.

 

The sooner you start working on and slowly improving your daily habits, the sooner you’ll start getting lasting results.

 

 

The solution may be simple but the process is much harder which is why so many people give up and fail.
